Spring is about here. The Ice Castle came down a few days ago. Photos of this years Ice Castle can still be found at Neighborhood for those of you that missed it this year. The Eagle River is showing signs of ice melting, the otter holes are getting larger. It is time to think of early spring get a way to refresh yourself. Some cottages still have availability for mid week or weekend get a ways for the next few weeks. The Muskie off one of the docks that has been teasing a few of us all summer now has a rest period until next spring. Bond Falls was looking very good a few weeks ago. Time to start thinking of your summer fun. Cottages and rooms are starting to fill-up, check for the dates you need.

Nestled among the Nicolet-Chequamegon National Forest, Northern Highland American Legion State Forest and Vilas County Forest.

One of the largest concentrations of Eagles in Wisconsin along with many other fauna and flora can be found. Some may be observed even while relaxing along the waterfront.

Two boat docks with elecitcial hook-ups. Pubilc boat launch just up river.

Fishing on one of the over 1300 lakes and 73 streams and rivers. Do not forget about Fly Fishing.

In the fall hunting season enjoy sighting a deer, bear, grouse, waterfowl, or small game throughout the forests. Wild Turkeys too.

Wisconsin Maple Syrup; Stop at a farm during Sugar Maple sap harvest time.

Go carting or ATV trails a few miles way.

Take a day trip to Minocqua, Woodruff, Boulder Junction, Land o Lakes or Three Lakes.
